Is my internal documentation secure?

LaunchChat only accesses the Notion pages you explicitly share via OAuth. It's read-only — your workspace is never modified. You can revoke access at any time from your Notion integration settings.

Can I create separate chatbots for different departments?

Yes. Create multiple knowledge bases — one for HR policies, one for engineering runbooks, one for sales playbooks — each connected to different Notion pages or file uploads. Deploy separate widgets or combine them.

How do I handle sensitive content like salary bands?

With Notion OAuth, you select exactly which pages to share. Exclude sensitive pages and only include the content you want the chatbot to access. The AI only answers from indexed content.

Does it work with Google Workspace?

You can export Google Docs as Word or PDF files and upload them. For ongoing sync, we recommend copying the content to Notion pages that auto-sync every 30 minutes.

Can I embed this in Slack or Microsoft Teams?

The primary interface is the web widget, which can be embedded on any internal site. For Slack or Teams integration, you can build a custom bot that calls the LaunchChat API endpoints.

How do I keep the chatbot updated?

If you use Notion, changes sync automatically every 30 minutes. For file uploads, re-upload the updated files and the knowledge base re-indexes. Website sources can be re-crawled on demand.
